McFaddin Beach Project
Currently, LEAP is Jefferson County’s technical adviser in the ongoing Corps of Engineers feasibility study of erosion response alternatives for McFaddin Beach (a gulf beach as opposed to a bay beach) on the upper Texas Gulf Coast.
LEAP is also providing coastal engineering analysis for the McFaddin Beach nourishment and sea water inundation protection of the McFaddin National Wildlife Refuge.
Tasks include inter-agency coordination, alternatives development and numerical modeling of this very unique consolidated clay shoreface.
