Director of Transportation & Drainage
As a Managing Member of LEAP Engineering LLC, Butch is responsible for the planning and design of transportation and drainage projects including highway design, land planning and engineering, schematic and geometric design, preparation of plans, specifications and estimates, hydrologic and hydraulic studies. Prior to starting the firm in 2000 with Robert Hickman, P.E., Butch had over 20 years experience in Transportation Engineering, with 14 years with TxDOT and 6 years in private industry including with LEAP Engineering LLC. His prior experience includes serving as Assistant Area Engineer with TxDOT’s Orange Area Office in which he was responsible for the management of design and construction of all projects in the Orange Area Office.

Additionally, the vast experience gained in design, construction and project management provides him with a broad and thorough understanding of all the elements of transportation and drainage design and construction. This experience allows him to participate in and manage multiple projects successfully providing flexibility and efficiency.
