| Managing Member/ Director of Structural Engineering & Industrial Services Prior to starting the firm with Butch Wilson in 2000, Robert was the manager of Structural Engineering for X L Systems, Inc., a manufacturer of large diameter tubulars used as structural members in both fixed and floating offshore installations. This position allowed to Robert to gain great experience in structural analysis and design including fatigue analysis of steel structures in North America, Europe and Asia. Additionally, he provided plant support services to manufacturing operations on all three continents. Since the inception of LEAP, Robert has concentrated on providing LEAP’s clients with efficient and innovative solutions to their needs, whether those needs were simple structural design needs or complex design in support of plant operations. One of Robert’s favorite pastimes is the problem solving needed to conquer complicated design issues. When he is not in one of LEAP’s offices, he enjoys running, cycling, surfing, and fishing the Galveston Bay system from his kayak. |
