Kurt E. Ploeger joined the LEAP Engineering Team in May 2008. He has over 35 years experience in most phases of design, construction management, procurement, field inspection and R&D. His experience includes petrochemical, marine, commercial, residential and heavy construction projects both domestic and international. His work includes: architectural, structural, piping, storage tanks and concrete.

Mr. Ploeger holds several US patents. One for an improved primary seal for floating roof API storage tanks; the second for a passive roof venting system for use on composition roofs.

He is a member of the American Institute of Architects (Allied), National Association of Home Builders, and the US Green Building Council, (Accredited LEED 2.0 Professional).
